From my list of fragrances is Baby Phat’s newest addiction, Fabulosity.I was super excited when I saw, smelled, and tested (several times) this perfume in Macy’s about a month ago. I love Kimora Lee Simmons and I simply LOVED the first few Baby Phat perfumes (Baby Phat: Goddess and Baby Phat Goddess Gold). This bottle first of all is damn well cute! It’s shaped like a diamond and is intended to lay on its side so you can see the facets. Clever!
The notes include plum, orange blossom, tiger lily, mysterious forbidden fruit (one question: que?), damask plum skin, Chinese osmanthus, coconut milk, purple violet, Tasmanian honey, vanilla absolute, patchouli and amber.
When you first smell this, it comes off really sweet and fruity mixed with a heavy dose of vanilla. But after it dries down, you get a war woody musk. The vanilla and fruity (plum) smell is still present it just doesn’t hit you as hard. The coconut is present but very soft in this perfume. The major problem is that while it smells fabulous (haha) the scent doesn’t last long. At the end of two hours, you’re kind of left wondering where’d it go. I like my scents to last throughout the day (or at least midday…not when I get off the train to go to work)
